What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Takiyah Lee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina who has been practicing since 2021. She graduated with her Bachelor's in Social Work from Bennett College for Women. She received her Masters in Social Work from North Carolina A&T State University Joint Master of Social Work Program. Takiyah is skilled at utilizing cognitive behavior therapy as well as mindfulness practices to assist with clients experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She believes in the importance of healing the entire person "?mind, body, and soul to achieve emotional and personal growth. In her spare time, Takiyah enjoys singing, writing music, and poetry.
