What does a first session with you look like?

It is my most important goal that you feel seen and heard after the first session. We will work together towards identifying where it is that you want to go, and how you will get there. Meeting for one hour, once a week, is rarely ever enough to foster change. We can discuss what you feel comfortable working on in between sessions to help you with your journey.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I use a balance of different modalities ranging from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, IFS, TF- CBT, psychoanalytic, and person centered. I would never want you to feel like this is a cookie cutter approach. These techniques will be catered to your personal needs.
