What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Choosing to seek therapy in pursuit of personal betterment can be intimidating. At the same time, this can be an incredibly brave act of self-care. I believe that meeting my clients where they are as well as presenting as my most authentic self is one of the most important facets of creating connection in the counseling relationship. I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment as a space for my clients who seek to better understand themselves, who need assistance navigating their personal relationships, or those needing guidance on their journey towards healing. In therapy I utilize techniques such as person centered and narrative therapy, family systems, ACT, REBT, and more to assist clients towards achieving their therapy goals.
