What does a first session with you look like?
During our first session we will identify your goals and discuss what you are hoping to get out of out time together. Each session after that will be focused on how to reach your goals, one step at a time.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I have a client centered and cognitive behavioral therapy approach to understanding a person's experience. I also have a background in using art and play therapy interventions with children, teens and families. We will practice self-monitoring skills, self-regulation techniques and relaxation to help manage your symptoms.
