What does a first session with you look like?
As a Licensed Professional, it is my purpose to help clients work through their distress to achieve positive results. I work well with clients seeking to alleviate their stress, relationship difficulties, and conflict while improving their mood and functioning. Tambien Hablo Español. My ideal client is you, who decided to take a step into the healing art of psychotherapy. "Forward Progress! Just keep moving!" It is important to realize that we usually do not give ourselves the credit we truly deserve. Any progress deserves to be noticed! You can do it! "You are the sky. What is your style/approach to therapy?
The therapy journey with me follows this path: Phone Consultation: Welcoming the client to this journey and reinforcing the decision to obtain services. First session: Trust Building, prompting, and listening to reach an appropriate diagnosis. Second session: Working together with the client on building a strong and realistic treatment plan. Third and on: Implementing interventions (CBT, ERP, ACT, etc.) to work toward treatment goals. All sessions: Comfort, Empathy, and Challenging.
