I utilize many different tools throughout treatment, specific to what you may need. I lean towards client-centered tools especially when building rapport with you, such as: unconditional support, empathetic listening, and trying to truly understand how you function and who you are as a person. I am trained in EMDR, if that is something you are interested in, for processing past traumatic situations. We will use eye movement to be able to help you move through past memories that may be painful and still hurting you today.

After our first session together I hope that you feel comforted and have an outlook on how our treatment process will continue. I strive to create a safe space for all clients no matter gender, sexuality, race, etc. The therapeutic relationship is a partnership and I believe that as sessions continue you would feel the ability to continue through life with a confidence of knowledge and ways to better move through and manage symptoms.
