What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use a combination of treatment modalities to custom fit your needs. I utilize EMDR, person centered, CBT, DBT, systems and attachment theory to facilitate the healing process. I also incorporate mind, body and spirit modalities to encourage a holistic transformation.
What does a first session with you look like?
I understand that getting help is hard and I am here for you. I have been in your shoes and know how hard it is, but it is harder to go through life with all wounds you have than not getting the help you need. You can expect that it is going to be hard to bring up all of these tough issues in the first few sessions, but research suggests that in about 6-10 sessions, you should expect to feel much improvement in many areas of your life.
