What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
In my nursing career I have had the privilege of working with patients throughout all stages of their life. I enjoy partnering with my patients to develop a holistic individualized plan. After working with mothers in the NICU and being a new mother myself, I am particularly passionate about maternal mental health education and treatment. I have completed continuing education through Postpartum Support International to allow me to partner with and serve families throughout the CSRA. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors and local restaurants with my husband, 18 month old daughter, and hound dog, Watson. Saturday's in the fall I can be found cheering on my Georgia Bulldogs!.
