What does a first session with you look like?
Therapy with me can be expected to be client-centered, which means I tailor the therapeutic experience to the needs and preferences of my client. Throughout the therapeutic process, we will focus on identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress, thus promoting healthier cognitive and behavioral responses.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
The foundation of my clinical practice primarily consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), (MB-CT) Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and (TF-CBT) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness.
