What does a first session with you look like?
A first session is typically the initial assessment. It is primarily focused on gathering as much information about the client as possible. After the first session the real therapy part begins.
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
That therapy is hard work! It takes time and a lot of practice. Therapy is basically trying to determine what is affecting the client and how we can change or adjust their responses to get a better outcome. I takes a lot of time to change a habit. But if you work at it, work with me we will get through the hard work and a better you!
