What is your style/approach to therapy?
I usual use an Eclectic approach; however, depending on your struggle I will utilize a treatment approach, which is custom tailored to your needs. I have training and experience in various treatment approaches, for example: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Couples Therapy, Individual Therapy, Gottman Method, Emotional Focused Therapy(EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy,Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and Choice Theory.
What does a first session with you look like?
In my first session with you, we are getting to know each other and seeing if we are a good fit for each other, if we decide to move forward we then work closely together in creating a plan on what we need to address and how we will address it.
