What does a first session with you look like?

During the initial session, I learn about you. It's a time for you to share what has brought you to therapy and any information you'd like me to know about your past, present or future. We discuss the treatment plan and the goals you have for your journey in therapy. Each time we meet for a session we will discuss where you are in your journey and any changes you'd like to make along the way. Therapy goals can change and shift based on life events and preferences. Sessions will provide interactive feedback, emotional support, time for processing the issues and support for the goals set.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

Sessions and support are conducted based on personal preferences. Some individuals prefer to have worksheets and handouts to read and work on. Some individuals prefer to journal and discuss in session. Some individuals want to process their day or week and need interactive feedback and challenging interactions. -Cognitive Therapy -Solution-Focused Therapy -Behavioral Therapy -Holistic Therapy
