What is your style/approach to therapy?

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for those dealing with anxiety including exposure and response prevention for those struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder. I also draw on acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectical behavior therapy in addition to reviewing your self care practices to help you make adjustments if needed.

What does a first session with you look like?

Each session will follow a simple structure which allows us to keep our eyes on your goal while also giving us space to explore. After a review of the week, we will dive into the specifics of what you are experiencing or working on. We will have time for discussion, space to acknowledge and feel your feelings, and you will also leave the session with new insights, skills to practice, and a review of how you feel things are working for you.
