What does a first session with you look like?
We collaborate on discovering the best version of you. Then we outline the steps needed to attain this version of yourself. I provide psychoeducational information on what is needed to help facilitate change, and then we spend time finding solutions and barriers that would hinder your growth. From there, we come up with interventions that can be implemented and evaluate their effectiveness. This is all done in a safe space, with empathy, compassion, and positive regard.

Methods for treatment often consist of screening tools that help provide context to your experience and provide a base measurement. Other assessments may be utilized to gauge progress and become sources of discussion during your therapy session. Of importance, all tools and techniques have a purpose and are evidence-based.
