What does a first session with you look like?
In our initial session, expect it to be mostly about getting to know each other and creating a plan that best fits your personal goals for your healing journey. This is not about me and my wants but what is important to you and for you.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I offer a strengths-based approach with a warm, person-centered counseling style which incorporates and utilizes various therapeutic methods. My job, as your therapist, is to help you healthily process emotions. We will work collaboratively, as a team, to increase your tolerance of intense emotional experiences. I also offer Christian Counseling for those wanting to incorporate a faith-based approach into their Clinical Experience.
