What does a first session with you look like?
Clients can expect to take away from the session some tools or experiments to try at home and resources for specific things if wanted. She thinks of homework to try during the week if wanted (not everyone likes that) or just great conversation and things to think about during the week.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Andrea utilizes individual therapy with collaborative dialogical, solution-focused, narrative therapy as well as other methods. She sees individuals with issues such as anxiety, depression, job stress, trauma, and relationship concerns or strain. She utilizes couples therapy with solution-focused aspects to focus on how to fix the problems. She has experience helping couples through trust, commitment, intimacy, connection, infidelity, and communication.
