What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Angela Hamm is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2017. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practice. She has 10+ years of nursing experience in the inpatient and outpatient settings. As a nurse practitioner, she has experience treating patients across the life span with a wide range of illnesses. Angela enjoys providing individualized care for patients of all ages struggling with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD and other mental health conditions. She believes shared decision-making is imperative, as it gives her patients an opportunity to have informed, meaningful and collaborative discussion with her regarding their care. In her free time, Angela enjoys working out, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
