What does a first session with you look like?
I thrive in ensuring my clients feel that they are “in good hands” through our working therapeutic relationship. It is important to me that my clients feel understood as well as heard and that our connection is based on trust, hope and faith that we can get there together. Our partnership will allow you to understand what you are experiencing, whether it is your first-time seeking counseling, or you have had previous experience, grounding your own sense of who you are, the reason you feel the way you do and how to make the change you desire.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, dialectical behavioral, and psychodynamic therapy. I will also accommodate your specific needs, “meeting you where you are at” while encouraging you to be “the best you”.
