What does a first session with you look like?
In my therapy sessions, clients appreciate my approachable communication style and down to earth nature while maintaining a compassionate and accepting environment. I strive for a collaborative partnership between myself and my clients, recognizing that they are the experts of their own lives. Together, we work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My therapeutic approach is built upon a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates a range of other evidence-based modalities, including Strength-Based, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Person-Centered approaches. Additionally, I am sensitive to the various social and cultural factors that impact recovery and overall well-being, and use a multicultural lens to ensure that my practice is inclusive and reflective of my clients' diverse experiences.
