What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Dr. Jain is a Licensed Psychologist (Clinical) working in the field for more than 13 years. She has worked extensively with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and stressors associated with life transitions and physical health. Dr. Jain has worked independently with outpatient group practices in Maryland. Previously, she worked with trauma survivors, veterans, substance abuse, and homeless population in New York City. Dr. Jain completed her pre-doctoral supervised experience at a large multicultural and multilingual federally qualified center in Chicago. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She also completed an Advanced Master's degree with a two-year supervised internship in Clinical Psychology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Dr. Jain is skilled in delivering evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral and Trauma-informed therapies. Additionally, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and is trained to help clients facing domestic violence. She is affiliated with the American Psychological Association and Maryland Psychological Association. Dr. Jain believes in establishing a trusting, empathetic, therapeutic relationship with her clients.
