I work with people through an anti-oppressive, culturally inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirmative, and strengths-based lens. As an intern at Hearme.app, I specialized in speaking with individuals from around the world who were struggling with their gender and sexual identities in the midst of experiencing stigmatization by their cultures. At the Brownsville Community Justice Center, I worked with justice-involved youth of color to address structural and oppressive systems in place against BIPOC. Culture, environment, the multiple identities you hold, and the societal systems in place can all be significant contributors to the stressors you face. In exploring these factors collaboratively with you, I hope to empower you to recognize your strengths and to draw upon them.
