During our first session we will explore your concerns while I to get to know you. The first session may be intense as I explore what brought you into therapy and what your end goals are. We will work together to set realistic goals that will help you make the long-term changes you desire. As you take on new behaviors, we will work together to make those behaviors uniquely your own. I provide support as I empower you to not only shift and implement new behaviors, but to be able to maintain them throughout the dance of life. My goal is to not work with you forever. But, rather to give you the tools to empower you to make changes on your own in the future.

I use cognitive behavioral therapy, insight oriented, acceptance commitment therapy, positive psychology and psychodrama to promote change. I also use trauma informed treatment techniques to address core childhood trauma and or present-day trauma that negatively impacts present day relationships. Psychodramatic techniques allow you to give voice to your inner unexpressed thoughts without the fear of being judged or rejected while reworking those experiences that have negatively impacted you. This technique also celebrates the strength and resiliency that you gained as a result of those experiences.
