What does a first session with you look like?
When people are struggling, they want to be heard, validated, and feel that there is hope. Their goal may be to just feel better, but they need help figuring out how to get there. They want someone they can talk to without fear of judgement and who can help them process their thoughts and emotions in a way that they may not have done in the past. They want to feel that the support they desire does exist and is accessible. Reaching out for support can be a difficult step, but I know one thing to be true, it does get better. The importance of feeling heard, being reflective, & taking time to work on you can not be underestimated. I work in collaboration with each client to develop a treatment plan that best addresses the areas they would like to work on. Take the first step!
