What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use evidence-based practices that are effective in improving people's quality of life. I specifically use EMDR, CBT and ACT.
What does a first session with you look like?
Sessions are tailored to the client's needs and what they are seeking from therapy. During our first visit, an assessment will be completed, we will start building rapport as well as a care plan which will include the client's goals and objectives. Clients will take away skills and tools to use on their day-to-day to cope with their symptoms and stressors. Clients will be able to process what is underneath those symptoms and behavior and develop healthier ways of thinking.
