What does a first session with you look like?
After our sessions, I hope you will walk away with a genuine feeling of being understood and motivated to work collaboratively with me so you can obtain a healthy sense of well-being. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My Graduate education and training were based on Ego Psychology and Psychodynamic Theories. I have also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping. I will tailor our sessions and collaborative treatment planning to meet your unique and specific needs.
