What is your style/approach to therapy?

I use various therapeutic modalities. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client/Person Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and many others.

What does a first session with you look like?

You can expect a therapeutic environment that is secure, compassionate, and empathetic. The first session will consist of a lot of rapport building and information gathering. We will discuss issues you feel comfortable addressing and discuss goals in regards to what you would like to get out of therapy. We will explore past trauma, difficult relationships, anxiety, depression, and experiences and seek different techniques to handle each situation and any adverse symptoms you may be experiencing as a result.
