The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. As a young African American woman in an ever changing society, I wholeheartedly open my mind to you with the goal for you to be successful here or out in the world.

Armeshia Lawrence is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed to provide a wide range of services to adults, children, adolescents, and their families in the outpatient mental health clinic, psychiatric emergency services, private practice, or in a hospital or community health center. These services include diagnosing, conducting therapy, and prescribing medications for patients who have psychiatric disorders, medical mental conditions, or substance abuse problems. Armeshia's primary focus is on promoting stabilization while building a rapport, forming individualized treatment plans, and managing care.
