Clients should anticipate leaving the sessions feeling acknowledged, validated, and empowered. They will likely feel heard and better understood. I provide my clients with active listening, authentic feedback, ongoing support, and techniques and resources to practice and utilize after the session's conclusion.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My principal approach to treatment involves trauma informed care, mindfulness and cognitive behavior therapy. Together we will examine patterns of thought and behavior that are causing issues. We will work to enhance your emotional health. We'll employ techniques such as cognitive restructuring and behavioral activation to improve your overall well-being.
