Ashley Denny is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ashley believes one of the bravest tasks a person can do is begin to understand their own story. She values creating a safe, inclusive, affirming, and empowering space for all her clients. Sometimes we might feel alone or lost or that no one could possibly understand how we are feeling. We are all unique and have a story to tell, and you deserve to feel better. Therapy is a journey that can open doors to transformation and healing, allow you to explore your identities and relationships, and help you understand your strengths and challenge the things that get in your way as you learn new ways to cope. Ashley's intention is to show up fully for her clients. She takes a collaborative approach in which you work together to develop a plan and explore strategies and tools that foster meaningful and long-lasting change. Her role is to co-create a space where you feel safe enough to learn, unlearn, challenge, and be challenged while developing a gentle curiosity about yourself.
