What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
From your first appointment, I work to build a strong therapeutic relationship by providing a safe, accepting, and supportive atmosphere. I use your strengths as part of a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Medication management, including monitoring medication effectiveness and side effects, is part of the holistic methods I use for patients 22 and older. I believe for a holistic approach, it's important to also collaborate with your therapist. I offer a Christian-based perspective if your spiritual faith is important to you and want this to be part of your treatment. I am board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and am a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with the Virginia Board of Nursing. I am a Registered Nurse, hold two masters of nursing, and a post-master's degree. Originally from the Mid-West, our family has lived in Loudoun County since 2003.
