What does a first session with you look like?
After each session, you can expect to feel accomplished. We will set short and long-term goals together to make sure that progress is continually being made. Depending on what you want to accomplish in treatment, you may leave a session with goals to work on outside of therapy; I don’t like to consider it ‘homework’ but we will work together to ensure that progress continues outside of our sessions.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am trained in multiple therapeutic methods, including CBT, DBT, and exposure therapy. We will work together to figure out what modality works best for you.
