What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including Anxiety, Depression, LGBTQIA+, Life Transition, Self Esteem and Stress.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

As an African-American man who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have many years of experience working in a variety of settings and appreciate and celebrate the richness of backgrounds, experiences, and cultures that contribute uniquely to who you are at this moment. I look forward to being present with you as you grow more fully into who you were meant to be.
