What is your style/approach to therapy?

Tools and Treatment methods I utilize: Every person is unique so I work to find methods to fit; so, I think the best description is I utilized and eclectic approach. I am Person-Centered foremost. I use Evidence-Based models such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation, Visualization, and pull from the plethora of useful strategies and techniques from the other many, many modalities out there. If you have a special need or concern about a treatment method or modalities, please let me know.

What does a first session with you look like?

The first session is Intake and involves gathering background to better help me understand your needs. What might you take away from the sessions? *****SOME THINGS CLIENTS HAVE SAID TO ME AFTER SESSIONS**** feeling understood feeling heard more relaxed more optimistic / less negative starting to feel able to try and do things learned new skills that we practiced in session that were enjoyable able to sleep or fall asleep feeling 'better' decrease in symptoms believing in self working more towards personal goals feeling less emotionally heavy
