What does a first session with you look like?
Counseling can seem like a nerve-wracking experience all on its own, but if you take those first steps, your sessions with me will feel like an event you can't wait to join. I will help you feel comfortable and open about your sessions with me. I've worked with many people who have never had therapy before and begin to feel comfortable, excited, and eager to work on themselves. You will start to like what you see in the mirror!
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness therapy, and other treatment methods, but that does not mean that I use the same style of therapy with everyone because no one is the same! So, each client will have their version of therapy.
