What does a first session with you look like?
I aim to create a shift toward feeling better at each and every session. I am client centered and follow and support clients’ goals and personal make up; one size definitely does not fit all! I utilize creative, highly individualized approaches tailored to each person. Clients leave feeling significantly better and with a deeper and clearer understanding of themselves and their dynamics.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My treatment approach is strength based, positive and uplifting, versus "problem" focused. My therapeutic framework is one of relaxed empathy, support, creativity, intuitive guidance, patience and safety. I utilize creative framing and symbol, art therapy, somatic integration, meditation, dream work and have a psychodynamic clinical orientation (making the unconscious, conscious).
