You are the expert of your life. I won't pretend to know all of the answers or give you advice. We'll start with an assessment to get a better understanding of your history and what has brought you to where you are and then move forward to identify goals we want to work on together. I don't reduce you to a list of symptoms or diagnoses, but rather like to get a full picture of your life and the experiences that have brought you here. Then, using strengths you already have, begin to figure out how to move forward through the difficulties.

I am trained in an approach called EMDR(eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing), a therapeutic modality that has taught us that your brain and body already know what they need to heal we just need to get out of the way. Using the science of our nervous systems, I will teach you strategies to approach yourself and life with more compassion and kindness. I am also a TBRI (trust-based relational intervention) practitioner and weave those principles through my work.
