What does a first session with you look like?
You can expect to learn and gain something from the first interaction with me. Expect to be challenged and met where YOU want to. I will help you to feel comfortable with exploring what and who you would like to be after just one session. You will have a clear understanding of the therapeutic process. You can also expect to leave the first session with clarity and a better understanding of yourself.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I enjoy using Solution Fused Therapy because it focuses on solutions and provides a more positive outcome. I also enjoy Person-Centered Therapy and meeting people where they are at. I enjoy the flexibility of Person Centered Therapy because YOU are in control of what you want to work on and focus on. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help challenge ideas that may not be factual. Adventure-based therapy allows us to simply have some FUN during the counseling session while learning more about YOU.
