What does a first session with you look like?
After our first session, we will work together, collaboratively to work toward whatever goal you would like to address. I will always ask you where you would like to begin and follow your lead. I can certainly ask thought-provoking and follow-up questions, but I truly believe that this is your time and we will work toward whatever goal you have set for yourself.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I enjoy using DBT and CBT skills to help you strengthen relationships or deal with daily life stressors. I also enjoy talking and walking beside you throughout your journey to wellness.
