My treatment style focuses on perspective. I utilize a client-centered approach, meeting each client where they are in terms of life and knowledge. I strive to build on strengths to meet personal and treatment goals. I utilize a strengths-based perspective to encourage cognitive and behavioral change. Giving clients the ability to identify and utilize different perspectives allows them to see life through a variety of lenses, promoting growth in thought patterns.
Mental and behavioral health therapy varies with each person. Each client requires a specific treatment plan with objectives and goals tailored to fit their needs. After the first session, we will focus on building rapport while developing a plan for treatment together. Over the course of treatment, we will utilize strengths and perspectives encouraging the ability to utilize new skills to meet the treatment goals.
