What is your style/approach to therapy?

You have the answers within you to heal and become whole. It is often simply covered up with a lifetime of negative experiences that created doubt in your ability to listen to your own wisdom. When you abandon yourself and follow the advice and guidance of others, you end up disconnected, unhappy, anxious, and depressed. My goal is to go on a "treasure hunt" with you to find your nuggets of golden inner wisdom so that you are more aware of your goals and create a workable plan to get there. Once you recognize the false messages you learned, unlearn them, and then rewrite your story, your life will change.

Work History

A strong woman is created by taking many, small brave steps in life. After high school, I went into business, working in the legal and accounting fields, and later built an accounting practice. However, I began to realize my deepest desire is to help women and families. Following that insight, I walked away from my accounting business, went back to college at the age of 40, and built a private practice. This lead me on a journey to uncover why we do the things we do, what is happening underneath with anxiety, depression, and trauma, AND then showing others how to transform their lives. The chance to help others not just learn how to "cope", but literally change it from the inside out is rewarding, and it has a ripple effect. It all starts with listening deeper to your own inner knowing, your wisdom, rather than listening to your fear, and then following those prompts. It's been a fun and exciting journey, I can't wait to see what happens next.
