What does a first session with you look like?

During our initial session, you can expect a provider who listens to your wants and needs. We will explore treatment options such as psychotherapy, medication, and alternative therapies. As a team, we will develop the most effective treatment plan for you. The initial treatment usually lasts about an hour. Moving forward, sessions last about 30 minutes. During the early stages of treatment, along with your needs, our appointments will be more frequent. However, it is my goal to work towards maintenance treatment meaning follow-up appointments will drop to every 3, 6, or 12 months.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I utilize a variety of treatment methods such as cognitive behavior therapy, multiple mental health assessment tools, yoga, meditation, exercise, and diet to name a few. I believe in order to enhance overall wellbeing the mind and body need to be connected and in balance with one another.
