What does a first session with you look like?
Whether it is an in-person or a telehealth assessment/appointment you will be treated with dignity and respect in a welcoming environment. I believe in educating patients not only on the diagnosis and treatment but to help establish a foundation of understanding of WHY the treatment is important and what the expected medication responses are as well as HOW those medications work.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I believe in being purposeful when prescribing medications, not simply targeting a diagnosis but the root of the symptom while avoiding as many side effects/adverse reactions as possible. I utilized evidence-based tools throughout my assessments as well as proven clinical guidelines when treating patients. Most importantly I listen and work WITH the patient to formulate a treatment plan that works for them.
