Treatment planning and creating clear goals are an essential part of early work with me. If you are feeling overwhelmed, lost, confused, or stuck, I will help you identify the problem areas in your life and guide you on the process of creating attainable goals.
DBT and EMDR are highly structured, effective, and evidence based treatments that can help individuals reach their treatment goals. In a nutshell, these therapies focus less on talking about the "problem" too much and instead target the areas that keep client's stuck. I like to balance this type of treatment with traditional talk therapy sessions in between as needed. EFT for couples is based on attachment theory, and the goal is to help couples gain insight into their own unique and individual attachment styles, thus helping the couple identify patterns that may be preventing them from forming a strong and secure foundation.
