Interventions are specifically tailored to your goals, draw from relevant research and theory and follow a treatment plan, which is developed and agreed upon by you and I. If you require or prefer a specific form of therapy, we will discuss this in intake and decide whether I am able to provide this service or should refer to a specialist.
The first session or two is spent getting an understanding of your symptoms and concerns and how they impact your life. Whilst a diagnosis should never define you, it's important in order for treatment to be effective, so that's our next step. Then we'll look at your goals, steps toward these, and how you'll know you meet your goal. We track your progress, so you can see results, and we can figure out wht's going on, if you are not.
