What does a first session with you look like?

I love working with all different types of clients. My counseling passions are working with people from all different backgrounds to help them discover their purpose, and find freedom, peace, and growth by connecting with my clients and meeting them right where they are. My view of therapy is very client-centered. During each session, I will partner with my client to listen, support and empathize to empower my client in a judgment-free zone.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

My therapeutic approach to therapy is very eclectic. I integrate several different therapeutic approaches into my session, for example: Cognitive Behavior Therapies (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused, and even some Reality Therapy. I love to learn and constantly attend different types of training to learn more about the brain, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety as well as other aspects of counseling that I believe would be beneficial to the clients I serve.
