What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Carrie Thompson is a National and State Board certified Professional Counselor with a commitment to assisting children, teens and families toward optimum health. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Georgia and Masters of Counseling from Argosy University and has experience in residential, school, individual and telehealth settings. Carrie is an Adoption Competent therapist, serves families and individuals coping with Autism, ADHD and learning challenges, and offers DBT, CBT, IFS, and somatic strategies for trauma and anxiety. She has a background in nutrition and holistic strategies for bringing calm and focus to the mind and body and integrates client's faith in overall health. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys outdoor adventures, music, and time with family.
