What does a first session with you look like?
Working together, we'll identify and achieve therapeutic goals that reflect your personal values and empower you to authentically live your best life. Depending upon your needs, we may also incorporate learning mindfulness strategies, improving communication and interpersonal skills, and finding creative ways to move toward your desired change. We'll get real about how messy this journey of life can be - and work toward a renewed sense of hope, meaning, and self-compassion.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you achieve growth and healing. My areas of practice focus on women’s issues such as perinatal mental health (pregnancy through postpartum), trauma, neurodiversity, eating disorders/body image, interpersonal problems, career challenges, parenting, and family life.
