What does a first session with you look like?
An opportunity to be yourself and talk about things authentically in order to get to the bottom of the things that get in the way of living mindfully.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Firstly, I continue to always support in affirming the (gender, racial, cultural, religious, community, etc.) identities, experiences, and relationships (mono/ENM/etc) of all of my clients. In that I'm always checking my biases collaboratively... Aside from that, I utilize the following treatment methods: person centered and trauma informed CBT, IFS, SF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, ACT, and existential themes.
