Clients that have been exposed to traumatic experiences can expect to learn about the connection between trauma and their emotional and behavioral responses, acquire skills and strategies that help cope with emotions and memories tied to those experiences, effectively process the trauma, and integrate the learned skills into their everyday lives. Those that are not seeking trauma therapy, can still expect to gain more self-awareness by exploring the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behavioral responses. I also aim to help clients understand how their past experiences have shaped their view of self, others, and the world. Clients can also expect to learn ways to challenge their thoughts, as well as coping skills to manage their emotions, and ways to self-regulate.

I utilize a cognitive behavioral, as well as a trauma-informed approach. Treatment will be tailored to each client's unique goals and needs. I look forward to working collaboratively with clients to determine the areas of focus for each case.
