Montana Yates is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), who has been practicing since 2019. She graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Social Work and a graduate certificate in Gerontology. Montana is currently pursing clinical licensure to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through direct clinical supervision. Montana believes in an individualized, strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to therapy. Her main areas of focus include complex mental health such as trauma, mood disorders (for example anxiety, depression, bipolar), and dual diagnoses (for example intellectual and/or developmental disabilities). In her spare time, Montana enjoys spending quality time with her dogs (Otto, Ollie, and Ivy) and her significant other either hiking or snuggling as well as antique and thrift shopping. Montana is also an avid plantswoman and has upwards of 50 plants she cares for within her home.
